Hope
everyone had an enjoyable holiday season.
We
had a wonderful Christmas party and really appreciated the visit with special
guests Arthur & Joan Westlake and Johanna & Henry Jansen, all Life
members of our Club. And of course, Santa’s annual appearance delighted kids
and adults alike. Roger and Paulette provided an interesting and enjoyable
dance program, complete with spot dance prizes. Thanks to all who helped make
this such a great party.
By
the time this article is published, the Club’s 25th Anniversary
Dance will be over. In anticipation, thanks to all who came out to celebrate this
milestone with us.
On
February 20th we will host the New Dancer Jamboree & Pot Luck Supper.
Thanks to the guidance of Roger & Paulette, we are extremely proud of our
new dancers as we’re sure you are of yours. Let’s bring them all together so
they can show off their new found talents, gain some confidence and experience
the remarkable friendships generated by this activity,. See you there.
Next
is our Mother of the Year Dance, scheduled for May 7th. What a great
way to wind up the dance season – Hope to see many of you out for this.
Most
of our visitations were done in the fall but we look forward to those
remaining. For those visiting our Club, you’ll notice a considerable
improvement in the hall’s acoustics, thanks to our new sound panels.
Our
doors are always open – you’re welcome to join us any Friday evening.
In
closing, Valentine’s Day is fast approaching – Don’t forget you sweetheart!
