Rainbow Country Dancers Newsletter December 2006

It has been an interesting start to a new season of dancing. We have had various injuries and ailments that have lessened the number of dancers per Wednesday evening. Now we send our condolences to our president couple on the passing of Serena’s father. But on a happier note our vice-president couple is off to Seattle to celebrate his father’s 90th birthday. Some of our members are off to the south and some for cruises in the near future. The rest of us are here to face the elements.

We wish to thank the callers who have come out to support us. The Allan Zweirsche dance was cancelled due to his mother’s health. Many thanks to John Myers, John and Pat Curzon for calling in the past and Valerie Holmes in the future. We missed Glenn Watts but club member say he was excellent and we are looking forward to hearing him in the future. Hope to see many of you and have more good times across the square with club visits. Scary thought: Christmas is near.
