Hi-Land Swingers News December 2004

Our club is off to a positive year – thanks to all our members support. There has been a tremendous turn out of Hi-Land Swingers to our mainstream dances – 8 squares plus.

Visitations by other clubs to our club has been rewarding; including our club visits to others.

We have 6 beginner couples, who are doing great; and well supported by last year’s graduates and mainstream square dance angels.

Our Special dances – Harvest Moon and Oktoberfest – were successful, with an enjoyable time of fellowship – fun – friends.

The only note of discouragement is a slight decline in membership over the past 3-4 years; similar to other clubs I might add.

Let us keep up the good Hi-Land Swinger support and friendly spirit that has kept our club alive and well over the years. It goes without saying – a Special Thanks to our caller – Palma Heming.
