March is
here and it came in with a bang. From the great weather we were having to this
snow and cold. Well we can’t really complain because it has been a great
winter. But the year has gone so quickly. We are approaching the end of our
term as club presidents. We had a grand year. We celebrated our clubs 50th
anniversary on November 05. We had many visitors over the year and visited all
of the other clubs, even a trip to Lacombe.
Our new
dancers are going great guns and coming along fantastically, that’s to Palma’s
great calling.
We
changed our format this year, with a mainstream workshop before each mainstream
dance. Palma refreshed our memories with a few new tricks and reinforced some
rusty moves.
Thank you
to everyone for making our year go smoothly with all of your support, and
especially to Palma for her fantastic calling.
Our
upcoming events are: Chili Night on Wednesday April 26th, and our
Stampede Dance on Monday July 10th.
We are
looking forward to seeing you all around the square this summer.
